Welcome to StickIt! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StickIt mobile application and services. By creating an account and using StickIt, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StickIt, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use StickIt. By using the app, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To use StickIt, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscription Services

4.1 Free Trial

We offer a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.

4.2 Subscription Plans

We offer the following subscription options:

• Monthly Subscription: $9.99/month
• Yearly Subscription: $95.99/year (20% savings)

4.3 Billing and Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Account Settings

4.4 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
• Free trial cancellations must be made before the trial period ends to avoid charges

5. Prize Claims and Payouts

5.1 Subscription Requirement

Only active subscribers can submit prize claims and receive cash payouts. Free users can play rounds and view prize amounts but cannot claim prizes.

5.2 Claim Limits

Subscribers can submit up to 30 prize-eligible claims per month. Additional features include:

• Squad multipliers (up to 2× earnings with friends)
• Referral bonuses (+5% per invited friend)

5.3 Prize Values

Current prize structure:

• Hole-in-One: $1,000.00
• Ace (Flat): $1,000.00
• Eagle: $100.00
• Birdie: $10.00
• Par: $5.00

5.4 Verification Requirements

All prize claims must be verified through:

• GPS location confirmation (must be on a valid golf course)
• Video recording of the shot
• Co-witness verification when applicable

5.5 Payout Processing

• Minimum payout amount: $50.00
• Payouts processed via Stripe
• You must complete Stripe identity verification to receive payouts
• Funds typically arrive within 1-3 business days

5.6 Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to:

• Reject any claim that appears fraudulent or violates these Terms
• Suspend or terminate accounts engaged in fraudulent activity
• Withhold payouts pending investigation
• Report fraudulent activity to relevant authorities

6. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Submit false or fraudulent prize claims
• Manipulate GPS data or video recordings
• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with other users' experience
• Share your account credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of StickIt are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content
• Reverse engineer or decompile the app
• Use our trademarks without permission

8. User Content

By uploading videos, photos, or other content to StickIt, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating the app and verifying claims.

9. Disclaimers

StickIt is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy of GPS or verification systems
• That you will win any specific prize amount
• Compatibility with all devices

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits or data
• Service interruptions or errors
• Third-party actions or content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in subscription fees in the past 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of StickIt or violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features at any time
• Change subscription pricing with 30 days notice
• Update prize structures and payout rules
• Suspend the service for maintenance

13. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Abuse the service

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 24 hours.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in the United States.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms in the app
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending an email notification for significant changes

Continued use of StickIt after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and StickIt regarding use of the app.
